Christmas treat bags to Seniors and Shut-ins - December 20, 2022 - Rotary members distributed 110 treat bags to seniors and shut-ins in several apartment complexes and homes in Blind River.
Christmas Baskets - December 2022 - The Blind River Rotary Club and Rotary members donated $2000 to the Blind River Christmas Baskets.
Christmas Gifts to Women & Children in Shelter in Mississauga - December 2022 - Rotary supplied 8 gifts for the women and 2 gifts for the children staying in the Shelter over Christmas.
Rotary Ham Sale: November 2022 - Sale of about 240 hams to the community! Proceeds to Rotary projects.
Air/Sea Cadets - October 2022 - Donation of $1200
TVM Twilight Trail October 29, 2022 - Donation of $200 to support purchase of supplies.
Human Trafficking and special presentation will take place mid/late October in Blind River for the elementary and secondary schools in Blind River and Elliot Lake. As well, an evening presentation in Blind River will be open to the public and community partners. The East Algoma Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police and Victim Services Algoma are partnering to make this Human Trafficking presentation a reality in our community. Rotary will support this presentation with a $1,000 donation.
